Canon Rock

This video is one of the most viewed on YouTube (over 32,574,416 times) and it has been the n.1 favorite amongst the viewers who voted.

The theme is taken from Pachelbel's Canon, also known as Canon in D major, or more formally, Canon and Gigue in D major for three Violins and Basso Continuo. It was written around 1680 during the Baroque period.

This seems to be a must-play for all rock guitarists!

I am not 100% postitive, but I do believe this arrangement of Pachelbel's Canon, also known as Canon in D major, called "Canon Rock", was arranged by an amazing guitar player from Taipei Taiwan named JerryC. You can look him up on YouTube. Most everyone credits him with this awsome arrangement.

Thank you for that bit of information.

I checked about him in Wikipedia. In the article there is a link to his official website.
